This concept model’s silhouette modernizes the classic Acura NSX contours and upgrades its predecessor’s hybridized powertrain to one that’s fully electric. We don’t have any confirmation on the electric powertrain yet, but we expect strong electric motors that uphold this model’s reputation for speed and high performance.
When Will This Model Launch?
In all likelihood, it will be a while. The Acura NSX leaves some big shoes to fill, so the brand will be lavishing extra attention on every detail of this EV. Considering that this is a concept, expect some changes between it and the production model when the debut finally comes.
Are We Sure of the Name?
Technically, no. However, given that the Acura NSX has such a storied reputation – and given the visual resemblance – we would be very surprised if the company did not resurrect one of the industry’s most iconic names for a car that’s sure to be electrifying in every sense.
