Check Your Fluid Levels
Oil, engine coolant, transmission fluid, and brake pad fluid need to be checked and monitored regularly. Why not start the year out by making sure you’ve got enough fluids? It’s also an excellent time to change your oil if you haven’t recently done so.
Inspect Your Wipers
Now that it’s winter, rain is a more common occurrence. Make sure your wipers are functioning properly and cleaning your windows effectively. If not, it’s time to get them replaced.
Check Your Tires
Occasionally examining your tires is a good habit. Look at each one for wear or damage, and make sure to measure your tire pressure. Colder months mean lower tire pressure; driving with low tire pressure can lead to serious damage on your treads.
Speaking of tires, it’s generally recommended that you rotate your tires every 5,000 miles or so. Bring your Acura in for a tire rotation if it's been that long.
Keep Up with Your Scheduled Maintenance
