Charging
What if you never had to visit a gas station again? While you might still need snacks and beverages for your trip, you won't need a gas pump. You have three ways to charge your EV.
Level 1 120-volt charging using a household outlet; this is the slowest charging method, taking about 20 hours.
Level 2 240-volt charging stations can be installed at home - your Acura dealer serving LA can refer you to a qualified installer - or be found in many public places; they'll top your battery off in about eight hours.
Level 3 DC Fast Chargers can charge your battery in less than an hour. These can't be installed at home, but you can find them using the exclusive Acura EV app.
EV Maintenance
Another advantage to EVs is that they require less Acura service. Battery inspections, brake and tire service, and a few other essentials are on the menu, but other items you might be used to (like oil changes) are now a thing of the past.
